Arran can be a golfer's paradise. With seven golf courses ranging from beginners to seriously challenging, all set in stunning surroundings what more could golfer possibly want? Apart from a great meal at the end of the day and a lovely room to fall asleep in -- and we've got that too.

Arran Golf Pass

The Arran Golf Pass is terrific for avid golfers! It entitles the bearer to one round of golf on each of Arran’s seven golf courses. Simply book your tee-time in advance by phone or online (where this is available), turn up and play! The Arran Golf Pass offers great value compared to the costs of paying to play each of the courses individually. Your Arran Golf Pass lasts a whole year, so you can return to play different courses each time you visit Arran or enjoy a great golfing holiday playing them all at once!

Lamlash Golf Club
Lamlash Golf Course is a delightful Par 64 - 18 hole, golf course. Although quite short in distance, measuring at some 4,640 yds, it offers a serious challenge for golfers of all abilities. An example of the challenge set can be seen in the fact that it has many long Par 3's, including two measuring over 220 yds. In addition to these lengthy Par 3's, Lamlash offers many tricky Par 4 holes where an off-centre tee shot will more than likely never be seen again. Set on the hillside above the village of Lamlash on the Isle of Arran, there are some spectacular views overlooking the Clyde Estuary and the Ayrshire coast, including famous courses such as Royal Troon & Turnberry. With its lush fairways and beautiful greens Lamlash Golf Course really is a must play course in the west of Scotland.

The course was founded in 1895. Though relatively short at 4063 yards, par 63 it is a good test of golf and features some particularly challenging par 3s.

Brodick Golf Club
Brodick Golf Club is a beautiful location for a challenging and enjoyable day's golf. Among the island's 7 golf courses Brodick holds it's own with an unsurpassed view down the first hole of Goatfell in all it's glory.

Brodick is a great course for golfers of all handicaps. From its opening hole, the longest Par 4 on the course, to its three tough cross-water Par 3s, a tricky dogleg Par 5, and deceptive Par 4s at the turn. It presents challenges and obstacles which are great to take on -- and hopefully conquer!

Shiskine Golf and Tennis Club
The unspoiled seaside links of Shiskine Golf and Tennis Club are set in magnificent scenery on the west coast of the Isle of Arran, overlooking the Kilbrannan sound with splendid views to the Kintyre peninsula. Nestling below Drumadoon Cliffs at Blackwaterfoot, Shiskine’s challenging and picturesque 12-hole layout is truly one of the hidden gems in the world of golf. This unique 12-hole course has achieved the distinction of being ranked as one of the top 100 courses in Britain for the past two years.

Lochranza Golf Club
Although Lochranza is surrounded by magnificent mountain scenery, the course is relatively flat parkland. The first section gently falls to a tree lined burn, then the course broadens out towards the loch. In the sea field views open out to Lochranza’s medieval castle, with the sea lapping at its base, and Kintyre across the Kilbrannan Sound. In this beautiful setting it is common for families of red deer to be seen grazing near the golf course. Looking inland, mountain ridges rise one above another.

Lochranza is a family-friendly pay and play course of 2,332 yards. Clubs hire and trolley hire are available. The Stags Pavilion provides delicious home baked food all day, whilst, across the road, the Isle of Arran Distillery offers whisky-tasting tours and has a café and shop. In the village you’ll find the Lochranza Hotel where you can buy meals all day and a different whisky for every day of the year.

Corrie Golf Club
Established in 1892, this course features quite stunning views across the Firth of Clyde and onto Argyle from a number of vantage points and is often the talking pint of many visiting golfers to an island known as 'Scotland in Miniature'. The course is quite a challenge, especially if the wind is its usual self - howling.

Although quite small, you will have to have a certain amount of control over your ball if you are to put together a decent looking card. Notable holes include the fourth, where there's a sign by the green warning of snakes! On a clear day, this is easily one of the most beautiful golf courses in Scotland and well worth the short trip form the mainland.
