Terrace & Garden

To the side of the hotel is our large, historic, walled garden and terrace which provide an oasis of calm around the hotel. Enjoy lunch, morning coffee or afternoon tea and cakes (including a scrumptious cream tea with scones and locally made jam) on the terrace while enjoying some of the best views on the island. On a warm summer evening this is also the perfect spot for pre-dinner drinks.

Glenisle Restaurant

The Glenisle Restaurant is popular with locals and visitors alike for its excellent cuisine, relaxing atmosphere and friendly service. Our menu focuses on modern classics made from local ingredients and is constantly changing to reflect the seasonal availability of different foods.

Snug & Residents' Lounge

The Snug is proving a popular place for relaxing with coffee, tea, or drinks either during the afternoon or after a restaurant dinner. The area features exposed, sandstone walls and a large, original fireplace which was used for domestic cooking when this part of the hotel was actually the local police station. The residents' lounge has comfortable arm chairs to curl up in, a selection of books and games should you so desire and windows which look over the sea towards the Holy Isle. It's the perfect place to meet friends and unwind.
